R&M were off school because their school is a polling station so we went to the park in the morning and visited Grandma.  I took with a fairly healthy packed lunch and that was good.

But then this evening I went to a bar mitzvah and ate so much. I ate a whole massive challah because nothing else had come out and I was hungry. And mushroom vol au vent (spelling?) And then soup with kneidlach and lockshen and then chicken with roast potatoes and veg and then Apple cake, oh and coleslaw and fruit (not together obviously).

I very vaguely counted the calories and it was about 2000 over my allowance. Not good. It cancels out 3 days of calorie deficit in one meal.
