Do you weigh yourself every day? I do. I find it helps me keep from going doollally. But it is hard not to be demoralized by the daily fluctuations that are normal. I know that late nights affect my weight and last night after having friends over for dinner and monopoly was not what I’d call early. Well, early in some respects!!

Still I plod on and hope that there is a general downwards trend.

Breakfast – porridge with almond milk

Snack – avocado, vanilla yoghurt

Lunch -carrot ribbons, left over little bit of last night stew, a chicken thigh

Afternoon at kids supper time – quite a lot of pasta and half a pickle

Supper – pasta and pesto, prunes
