Another Shabbos where my head wasn’t quite in the right place. Disturbed sleep. Cranky children. Poor weather. Ho hum. At least I wore a top which definitely used to be too tight to wear. It still could be better. 

Breakfast – no grape juice so I had to have kedem kiddush wine for kiddush (not great at 9am!) A small Challa roll, weetabix with almond milk, some marble cake. Soya yoghurt

At a bar mitzvah kiddush – a single petit four

Lunch – Challa, chicken, barley/lentil think, beetroot, aubergine.

Afternoon – seeds, prunes, marble cake, small piece of halva

After Shabbos – rice krispies and almond milk

Total calories – far too many
