These were so delicious and easy and low calorie that I wanted to record how I made them so I could potentially repeat it.  The quantity of cumin is up to you. I had chickeny hands and so asked R to open and pour in the cumin. As a result they were really cuminy, but I recommend going heavy on the spice as it tastes really good!

Makes 4 good sized burgers – 204kcal each

Ingredients:

1lb (400ish g) chicken mince

1 egg

1 red onion

32g matza meal

Loads of cumin

Spray oil

Method

  1. Peel and chop up the onion into tiny pieces.
  2. Mix everything together
  3. It is a really messy mixture, so use a spoon to drop 4 mounds into a griddle pan and squash into burger shapes.
  4. Watch them changing colour as they fry and when the bottom half is fine, turn them over so the other side can cook.
  5. Eat and enjoy!
